movies

the rules of attraction

Saw this movie today. A bit weird movie... I have seen parts of this movie several times before, but today watched it through. I wanted to watch the movie 'My Life Without Me' yesterday. I had set the alerm to let me know when it starts but I forgot to take my cell phone with me so when I noticed, it was after an hour or so that started . I want to watch it from the start again. Seems like a very interesting movie!
I think someone from 20six wrote about the movie before. I don't remember if that was Olivia, Sez or Luda..... mmmm I think someone from them. She put the '10 things to do before she dies' list. I sort of want to make the list. Why don't I do it right here, yeah?!

1) Live in Europe for a while
2) Make an institution for adults to rest (for people on depression and else, like people who want to think over their life  like me last year)
3) Play the drums and guitar!
4) Travel in other countries
5) Travel in Japan with Minoru and go visit hot springs and eat yummy foods  such as raw crab (this thing tastes SOOOO NICE!!) etc.
6) Treasure my friends
7) Become rich enough
8) Go on a ship trip and have a party, dress in nice maybe red evening dress
9) Become friends with people all over ther world!!
10) Stay pretty *giggle* and healthy

What would your list be like? Let me know if it is ok !

The John Grisham's The Rainmaker

This movie was fairly good ! Very interesting to see how the things go with trials.
A impressive scene was that a witness who used to work for the insurance
company which was sued (G. insurance or something) apologize to the plaintiff (who died by leukemia)'s mother for that she could not be very helpfull at the testimony. She herself must be damaged by testimony, was blamed by having affair with her old boss and things....
Claire Danes looked very pretty in the movie .

The Vanishing

I saw two movies the other day, but it seemed to be the same original by accident.
The first one's title was 'Shissou' in Japanese and the other one was 'Shoshitsu', both were 'The Vanishing' in English. Although the films seemed to have the same original, ending were different. The latter one was more helpless.... . I am not sure if I should tell the ending here since there might be some people who want to see the movie, so I will shut my mouth here.
Oh, I got a new blog friend named Likhal today, yay . He is French and very cute . I donno why many people on 20six are so good looking. Maybe they carefully choose the pictures when they upload their pictures?!?! Even though, you cannot replace your face or anything, so you guys are blessed with your appearances. Cool! How do you do Likhal!

P.S. Likhal seems to study Japanese. Neat ne !

Haunted & The Watcher in the Woods

I watched 'Haunted' and 'The Watcher in the Woods' last week.
Both were kind of ghost story. They were all right. The actress of 'Haunted''s naked back was so beautiful and Holly Lynn Johnson, the actress of 'The Watcher in the Woods' looked like Mariah the singer, is that only me who think that ?!?! Hummmm donno...

On 29th this month, friends from uni are gethering in Tokyo. I am dying to go though, I have not earn enough money this month yet. I will try my best to make money for it next week. Wish me luck!!!
Oh, tomorrow is the first practice for the band, yay !!

You all have a nice weekend! xoxo

P.S. Oh I've just realised why they are showing lots of ghost movies on the satellite TV these days. It is because of Halloween, isn't it?!?! In Japan, it is usually summer that TV shows a lot of horrors on TV, since you know people want to get cool, so watch horrors and get what they want. There is also the Bon Festival in Japan in August it is similar to the Halloween. Check out the Bon Festival at here or here.

Kevin & Perry Go Large

I watched this movie today (latter half of it). It was ridiculously disgusting movie . <-- Yeah, this icon would go well . People are pewking (it might not be the right spelling how do you all spell "vomiting" in other words?), erecting, pooping and all that (^^. It was really ridiculous .

Interview with Vanessa Redgrave

Last night, I watched an interview program of Vanessa Redgrave. I tend to think that actors are not so intelligent for some reasons which may not be true for most of the time, think most of them use their brains pretty much to act anyways, she seemed very intelligent and very keen and I do not know how to express right. She was very impressive, smart and live her life very carefully and honest to herself and her surroundings. She was very cool .

Shaft

I watched this movie about a week ago. It was ok.
This movie was a remake of a movie in 1970. The main cast of the original movie is also on this new version as an uncle of the main cast.
